PDF Media Relations Session

Engaging and Succeeding in Media Relations
(Wednesday, June 11)
This interactive session, facilitated by Gardiner Centre, will provide EOs with a fresh understanding of how HBAs can successfully engage with media. Through a combination of theory and examples, along with breakouts for discussion and hands-on application, we’ll cover key aspects such as engaging with the media both proactively and reactively, effectively pitching stories through news releases and other methods, and preparing for media interactions. Additionally, participants will learn how to construct and communicate key messages, handle difficult questions with confidence, and navigate unexpected situations to ensure clear and strategic communication.
