CHBA is committed to ensuring our website provides equal access and participation for people with disabilities. We are dedicated to treating people with disabilities in a way that allows them to maintain their dignity and independence. We believe in integration and are committed to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner by removing and preventing barriers to accessibility and by meeting our accessibility requirements under Ontario’s accessibility laws.

Website Accessibility Policy

  1. Accessible Formats and Communication Supports: Upon request, we will provide information in accessible formats or with communication supports to people with disabilities, considering their specific needs.
  2. Website Accessibility: We have done our best to ensure our public website and web content meets WCAG standards.
  3. Training: We provide training to CHBA employees on Ontario’s accessibility laws and on the Human Rights Code as it relates to people with disabilities.
  4. Feedback Process: We will ensure our feedback processes are accessible to people with disabilities by providing or arranging for accessible formats and communication supports upon request. Please email us to make such a request.
